Digital Color Correction
Over time, the dyes in film will fade, leaving film discolored. This is why every slide, negative and photograph that we scan will be color corrected by us.
We offer different types of color correction; our Standard Service is automated color correction. A trained editor will look at your digital images and decide overall what corrections your order needs and will set up a customized program for your images.
Our Premium Service takes it a step further and edits each and every image individually giving it detailed time and attention.
Our Restoration Service is for images that have suffered the most damage, such as mold, severe discoloration, water damage, and years of "wear & tear." With our skilled PhotoShop techniques, we can erase time, making them appear new again. We also offer specialty services such as adding color to black and white photos, or removing unwanted people or objects from a photo.
Our Restoration Service is priced individually per image, for more information please view our Digital Restoration Page.
As our slides age, they can literally fade away. Luckily, we were able to scan and color correct this image at the premium level and bring this image back to life
As you can see, the blue and green dyes have faded, leaving the slide looking red.
Here are some examples of our digital color correction. Individual results will vary based on the condition of the original film and what service level was selected.
